How Mudjacking Works
Mudjacking — also called slabjacking or concrete raising — fills the voids beneath your slab and lifts it back to level. Four steps, usually one day, nothing left behind but a few coin-sized patches.

We drill a few discreet, coin-sized holes through the sunken slab — no demolition, no tear-out.

What exactly is mudjacking?
Mudjacking (also called slabjacking or concrete raising) is a repair method for sunken concrete. We drill a few small holes in the slab, pump a cement-based slurry underneath to fill the voids left by settled soil, and the pressure lifts the slab back to level. Then we patch the holes. It fixes the real problem — lost support underneath — without removing your concrete.
How much can I really save compared to replacement?
Because we keep your existing slab and skip demolition, disposal and a full new pour, mudjacking typically costs far less than tear-out and replacement — often up to around 60% less. Is my concrete a good candidate for leveling?
If your slab has settled or sunk but is still structurally solid — a driveway that dips at the garage, a sidewalk with an uneven joint, a patio that's pitched the wrong way — it's usually a great candidate. Concrete that's badly cracked apart or crumbling may be better replaced. We'll take a look and give you an honest recommendation either way.
How long does the job take, and can I use it right away?
Most residential jobs are completed in just a few hours — often a single visit. Because there's no new concrete curing, you can typically walk, drive and park on the leveled slab almost immediately, the same day.
How long does mudjacking last?
Once the voids under your slab are filled and the soil is properly supported, a mudjacked slab can last for many years. Concrete settles because of what's beneath it — fill that space and stabilize it, and the fix holds. We'll also talk through drainage or grading issues that could cause future settling.
