James Gilliland opened Autoworks in 2016 with a simple, stubborn idea: an auto shop shouldn't feel like a trap. Ten years later, the mission hasn't changed — change the negative perception of auto repair, one honest fix at a time.

Today the family-run crew on West Acoma Blvd handles everything from oil changes and A/C service to engine and commercial truck repair, backed by ASE certifications, modern diagnostic equipment and a BBB A+ rating. Ask around town — the answer you'll hear is "go see James."

Either works. Call (928) 733-6148 or book online and we'll get you scheduled — and if you're stuck, swing by the shop on West Acoma Blvd. Same-day service is often available, especially for diagnostics, oil changes and smaller repairs.
What makes and models do you work on?
Just about everything. Domestic and import cars, trucks and SUVs — customers bring us everything from Jeeps and work trucks to BMWs and Porsches. Our techs are ASE-certified with current training and modern diagnostic equipment, so newer vehicles aren't a problem.
Will I know what it costs before you start the work?
Always. We diagnose first, show you what we found, and give you a clear estimate. No work happens until you approve it — and the bill you pay matches the estimate you approved. That's the whole point of Autoworks.
Do you stand behind your repairs?
Yes. We warranty our work, and we honor it — customers will tell you about gaskets and repairs made right at no charge when something didn't hold up. If a repair we made isn't right, we make it right. Ask us about the warranty terms for your specific repair.
I can't sit around the shop all day — what are my options?
We've got you. We offer a customer shuttle to get you back to work or home, and vehicle pickup and delivery for many jobs. Drop it off, get on with your day, and we'll call before doing anything you haven't approved.
Do you work on commercial trucks and fleet vehicles?
Yes — commercial truck repair is one of our core services. We keep work trucks and small fleets moving with priority turnaround, because we know a truck in the shop is money out of your pocket. Call us to talk about your fleet.
